Philippe is a serial entrepreneur turned investor. He cofounded and ran a couple of companies, in the marketing automation SaaS and mobile commerce spaces, which were respectively acquired by Acxiom and Connexity (formerly known as Shopzilla). In parallel to his entrepreneurial ventures, he has been building, acquiring and managing a portfolio of residential properties for over 20 years.
Philippe is an active angel investor in US and Israeli startups. He's also a Venture Parter at Spider Capital, an early stage SaaS fund, on the Board of Advisors of numerous companies, and a mentor at various tech accelerators. Lastly, he's a real estate investor/developer mostly in Southern California and in France, and manages a large portfolio of residential properties.
He was recently the Chief Strategy Officer at Connexity (Shopzilla), which acquired its latest start-up, Zappli. Prior to that, he was the CEO and co-founder of Zappli, the creator of InstaBuy, a universal online check-out solution, enabling consumers to buy from hundreds of the largest merchants in just seconds, without having to visit the retailers sites.
Previously, he was the CEO and co-founder of Kefta, a leading marketing automation SaaS company, acquired by Acxiom. Kefta developed an innovative personalization/targeting platform enabling Fortune1000 retailers, banks and telcos, to provide a highly relevant/optimized experience across all their online channels, typically resulting in a 20-30% increase of online sales and a 4-15X ROI. Founded in 2000, and profitable after a few years, Kefta was acquired in 2007, by Acxiom Corp (ACXM), a $1 billion global leader in data and multi-channel marketing solutions.
